WP1
WP1 – Digital Health Integration in Healthcare Curriculum

Building the Digital-Ready Curriculum: Digi-CHange begins in the classroom. This work package redesigns healthcare educational programmes so that students learn not only medicine, but also how to practise it in a digital world.

What we do:
  • Map gaps and align existing courses with digital-health priorities.
  • Co-design new modules on AI, telemedicine, and data-driven care.
  • Pilot the updated curriculum and gather real-time feedback.
WP2
WP2 – Establishment and Networking of Digi-CHange Labs

Establishing the Digi-CHange Labs Network: Innovation needs a home. This WP creates physical and virtual Digi-CHange Labs where students, educators, and industry collaborate to explore and apply new technologies.

What we do:
  • Set up state-of-the-art labs in Georgia and Ukraine.
  • Train educators through “Train-the-Trainer” programmes in Italy.
  • Connect all labs into a collaborative European network.

WP3 – Artificial-Intelligence-Based Simulations for Healthcare Curriculum

Bringing AI into Medical Learning: Artificial intelligence becomes an everyday learning companion in this WP. Students experience AI-driven simulations that improve diagnostics, reasoning, and decision-making.

What we do:
  • Identify safe and ethical AI algorithms for education.
  • Develop and pilot interactive AI-based simulations.
  • Deploy the best tools at scale within the new curriculum.
WP4
WP4 – Digital Health Competencies Assessment Methodology and Tools

Measuring Digital Competence: Knowing how to teach digital health also means knowing how to measure it. WP4 builds frameworks and tools to assess students’ real-world digital skills.

What we do:
  • Define core digital-health competencies for medical and nursing students.
  • Design a transparent framework for assessment.
  • Create digital tools and training to support educators in applying it.
WP5
WP5 – Dissemination and Digital Health Awareness Campaign

Sharing Knowledge and Raising Awareness: Communication is transformation. This WP raises awareness about digital health, amplifies project results, and engages educators, policymakers, and the public.

What we do:
  • Develop and implement the project’s communication strategy.
  • Launch the Digi-CHange website, social media, and awareness campaigns.
  • Organise the final Digi-CHange Conference to showcase results.
WP6
WP6 – Project Management and Coordination

Managing Quality and Sustainability: Strong coordination keeps Digi-CHange running smoothly. This WP ensures transparency, quality assurance, and long-term sustainability of project results.

What we do:
  • Coordinate all partner activities and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor progress through internal and external evaluation.
  • Prepare the sustainability and “lessons learned” plans for future impact.
